Red Kite
There are more than one band that goes under the moniker "Red Kite". (1) Red Kite is a six-piece alternative rock band from London fronted by former The Cooper Temple Clause member Daniel Fisher. The band started out in 2013 and with three guitarists, two drummers, and equal parts hymn and squall, they released their debut album 'Songs For Crow' in the Spring of 2013 on the label "The Shipping Forecast". In 2017 they released their sophomore album "racquet". (2) Red Kite is a four-piece band from Norway. They play prog-jazz/impro. The band started up in 2014 and they released their first album in may 2019 (Red Kite - RareNoiseRecords RNR 105). Torstein Lofthus - Drums, Trond Frønes - Bass, Even Helte Hermansen - Guitar and Bernt André Moen - Keyboards. The members is and has been members of several bands such as Shining, Bushman's Revenge, Grand General and Elephant9. Being occupied with other projects is the main reason why it took Red Kite so long to record their first album. See them live if you can, you won't regret it! Read more on Last.fm.
